BLAST FROM THE PAST - SECOND BATTLE OF FOY

As we build up to the Spring Big Game 2024 in just a few weeks, we can equally travel backwards in time some ten years :

Spring Big Game 2014 - the Bishop of Ludlow and his Ludlow Expeditionary Force
are introduced to the Hereford VBCW. The Rev. Duff-Postin, No.2 to the Bishop,
is seen carrying the Ludlow Standard (probably to safety).

Mort, co-inventor of the VBCW period and rules guru, provides some practical guidance
to a youthful Bishop of Ludlow (appropriately clad in ecclesiastical purple). The 2nd Battle
of Foy is now best remembered for the Ludlow Light Lancers heroically charging
head first into the railway embankment strung across the middle of the table.
